It provides strategic direction for all project activities, ensuring alignment with national policies and global best practices. Through robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, it upholds quality assurance, ensuring efficiency and transparency in project delivery. Additionally, it supports institutional capacity building, strengthens policy development, and fosters collaboration between government agencies, international partners, and community stakeholders. Implementation Unit

Federal Project Management Unit (FPMU)

FPMU is instrumental in the success and sustainability of IFRAP. By consolidating expertise of project management, strategic coordination, quality assurance, policy development, institutional capacity building, and stakeholder engagement, FPMU serves as a knowledge hub for Project Implementation Units (PIUs), addressing technical challenges with the highest level of proficiency across all the components of IFRAP.

1. Quality Assurance

A cornerstone of FPMU’s role, ensuring rigorous monitoring and evaluation frameworks so that every phase of the project adheres to established standards and objectives. This oversight is vital for maintaining project integrity, maximizing effectiveness, and optimizing resource utilization.

2. Strategic Policy Development

FPMU plays a crucial role in shaping long-term strategies for water resource management and disaster resilience, contributing to frameworks such as the Water Act. This ensures both short-term project success and long-term sustainability.

3. Institutional Capacity Building

Through capacity-building workshops and training initiatives, FPMU enhances workforce skills, ensuring not only the effective implementation of the current project but also the development of a strong institutional foundation for future initiatives.

4. Multi-Level Coordination
